After a 19-year stint at Chelsea, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has completed a permanent transfer to AC Milan for £17 million. The breakdown of the deal includes an initial £14 million payment to Chelsea, with an additional £3 million in add-ons.
The 27-year-old midfielder underwent a medical in Milan before officially signing a contract until June 2027 with the Italian giants.

This transfer adds to Chelsea's significant sales this summer, which have now reached around £140 million. Other departures include Kalidou Koulibaly, Kai Havertz, Edouard Mendy, and Mateo Kovacic. AC Milan is also reportedly interested in Chelsea's Christian Pulisic, who has struggled to find his form and may seek an exit.
