Liverpool Women's team sign 21 year old Scotland international's Jenna Clark, who has been with Glasgow City FC for five years, has racked up 137 appearances with 28 goals for the club. This has earned her international recognition with Scotland, where she already has six senior caps. She has also won four league titles and a Scottish Cup.

Jenna Clarke shared, "It is a bit surreal right now. I don't think it has sunk in yet, but it feels amazing. I wasn't letting my hopes get too high, but once it became more real, I was just buzzing. I played at Glasgow City for five years, and they helped develop me massively as a player and got me to where I am today, at this massive club."

Liverpool started the transfer market quite late but has recently kicked into gear as clubs are looking to close deals before players get delayed by preoccupations with the World Cup happening in Australia and New Zealand.

Liverpool not only confirmed the signing of Clark (on the right) but also Leicester City player Natasha Flint (on the left).

Both players may have encountered each other as Flint was on loan with Celtic in Glasgow, where they both had exceptional performances.

Matt Beard, Liverpool manager, is slowly but surely starting to shape his squad ahead of the new Women's Super League season. He is looking to add depth and more youth players to his team.

For the center-back Jenna Clark, her move to Liverpool is quite special as she shared that her father has been a Liverpool fan his whole life.

She even went on a tour of Anfield last year, which makes her move to Liverpool a complete full circle.

Jenna Clark said, "My dad has always been a Liverpool fan, as soon as Kenny Dalglish came here, so growing up, there was only one team for me to support. I was here last year; my Christmas present from my girlfriend was an Anfield stadium tour, so to be here as a player and not just a fan is amazing."
